SO when I meet anyone it’s in my nature to find out everything about them. I wouldn’t call it nosey moreso inquisitive. So when I met SF back in 01 I wanted to know everything.
Well SF joined the military right out of high school and was shipped off from D.C. to my hometown. While he was in my hometown he apparently was lonely and missed his high school gf. She later moved to my hometown. Eventually they fell out and she moved back to D.C. So SF and I meet in 2001 and well you know the rest of that story from the last post. Anywho, in 2002 (I think) I went back to my hometown for a visit and caught up with S.F. I found out that him and the old gf were back together etc and that we was about to be deployed. Fast forward to after his deployment he contacts me again and I find out this:
- While he was deployed his gf stayed in my hometown
- He signed over power of attorney to her
- She was getting enough money where she didn’t have to work
- So she gambled
- He came back after deployment to find out none of his bills had been paid, one of his pets was dead, his other pet was on his last leg
- He was demoted due to the delinquencies on his bills
- She kicked him out of his own house after he returned from deployment and was upset about all of the above
Anywho fast forward to him leaving the military (which had to do a lot with the above) he returned to D.C. I met up with him. He looked different. He was different. I guess that’s what being deployed to some places will do to you. I had a bf at the time so nthing jumped off. He was no longer with chick, etc.
Find him on FB this year and he is BACK WITH CHICK ..the same chick! Ughh GOOD GRIEF …
Anyway, they broke up now a couple months back and he’s single again and hopefully sane. Its amazing what some men will put up with and it kind of gives me pause about him.
I made sure I saw him on Veteran’s Day and kissed the vet. I cant believe someone would do that to anyone let alone someone who was fighting for our country. Kind of makes me sick to my stomach.
That story wasn’t as long as I thought..

Hmm.. *military men*… you can love them or hate them… they are “special”. lol. i know first hand.
